Ukrainian PM, Italian minister discuss expert and technical assistance in energy sector
Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk and Italian Foreign Minister Federica Mogherini have discussed the possibilities of cooperation between the two states in the context of the signing of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU.
"Arseniy Yatseniuk has noted Ukraine's desire to further intensify the dialogue with the European Union in the context of the implementation of the Association Agreement. The parties have discussed the possibility of Italy's providing expert and technical assistance in the areas of energy security and improving the investment climate," the Web site of the Cabinet of Ministers reported about the outcome of a meeting of the Ukrainian prime minister and the Italian foreign minister in Kyiv on Monday.
In addition, the parties exchanged views on the situation in the east of Ukraine and the priority needs for the region's recovery.
