Ukrainian Treasury starts transfer of July pensions to Sloviansk, Kramatorsk

The State Treasury of Ukraine started to transfer July pensions to the Sloviansk and Kramatorsk districts of the Donetsk region on Sunday, the Treasury press service reports.

"The State Treasury of Ukraine transferred the first tranche of July 2014 pensions [for the period through July 7, 2014] to the Donetsk regional department of Oschadbank at 1430 on July 6, for pensioners residing in all populated areas of the Sloviansk and Kramatorsk districts," it said.

Earlier reports said militants had lost control of Sloviansk.
