Naftogaz Ukrainy includes its assets in Crimea in Ukraine's general lawsuit to Russia - Kobolev
Assets of Naftogaz Ukrainy in Crimea are included in the general lawsuit from Ukraine against Russia in regard to annexation of the peninsula, the Ukrainian national oil and gas company's chief, Andrei Kobolev, said at a briefing in Kyiv on Friday.
"This issue [lawsuit regarding Crimea] has not been lifted and a lawsuit is being prepared. Naftogaz is part of this process and this process will be launched now," he said.
According to Kobolev, it is currently impossible to tie Naftogaz assets in Crimea with the lawsuit of Russia's Gazprom due to the stance of the Russian company saying Gazprom has nothing to do with the situation at the Crimean peninsula.
