EU, Ukraine to sign remaining part of Association Agreement on June 27 – European Council
The European Union will sign the economic part of the Association Agreement with Ukraine on June 27, simultaneously with the signing of similar documents with Moldova and Georgia, according to the European Council.
"Both agreements [with Moldova and Georgia] will be signed in the margins of the European Council on June 27 together with the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement. Technical preparations for the signature of the latter are expected to be finalized shortly," the European Council said in a statement on Monday.
According to the statement, on June 16, the European Council completed technical preparations for the signing of Association Agreements with Moldova and Georgia.
Ukraine signed the political chapters of the agreement with the EU on March 21, 2014.
