Russia offered Ukraine $100 gas discount, Kyiv wants contract revision - Yatseniuk
Ukraine rejected Moscow's offered discount of $100 per 1,000 cubic meters of gas finalized by the Russian government and is insisting that any contract explicitly include a market price, Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk has said.
"We are standing on the same positions: revise the contract and establish a market price for gas," Yatseniuk said in opening remarks at a Ukrainian government meeting on Wednesday, adding: "We aren't going down that road again."
