Yatseniuk initiates creation of National Bureau for Combating Corruption
Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatseniuk has said it is necessary to establish a National Anti-Corruption Bureau in Ukraine to continue combating corruption.
"In the frames of our reform combating corruption the task number one is to create the National Anticorruption Bureau. Secondly, it is necessary to make amendments into the law of Ukraine on police. The third task is [to make] a new version of the law of Ukraine on public prosecutor's office," he said delivering a speech at the parliament on Friday on the results of 100 days of government's work.
Moreover, Yatseniuk said that it is necessary to have political accountability for all political forces that nominated their candidates for the leading posts in central and local executive agencies, and who betrayed this trust, and were involved in corruption.
