EC rejects Russia's claims on illegality of reverse gas supplies from Slovakia to Ukraine
The European Commission has again rejected claims by the Russian side regarding the illegality of future reverse gas supplies from Slovakia to Ukraine, insisting on their legitimacy, Sabine Berger, spokesperson for EU Energy Commissioner Gunther Oettinger, has said.
She said in Brussels on Thursday that the decision offered by the European Commission and enshrined in the memorandum of understanding on reverse gas supplies from Slovakia to Ukraine was legal.
