A total of 91% of Ukrainians aged 16 or older were mobile communications subscribers as of late 2013, reads a survey of GfK published on Wednesday.
The analysts registered growth in the number of subscribers who use two and more SIM-cards. By the end of 2013, the share of subscribers with two SIM-cards was 14.3% of the total subscriber base, and the share of such subscribers is seen in cities and towns with populations over 50,000.
The share of smartphone users grew in Ukraine. Their share of total number of mobile phones grew from 9% to 13%.
A total of 1,000 respondents were polled over one month.
