IMF to consider program of cooperation with Ukraine in last week of April - Shlapak
The Executive Board of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) will consider a program of cooperation with Ukraine in the last week of April 2014, Ukrainian Finance Minister Oleksandr Shlapak has said.
"We expect that this [IMF-Ukraine cooperation program] will be done in the last week of April. This is in line with their own procedures," he told reporters on Wednesday.
Shlapak also confirmed that a Ukrainian delegation would leave on April 10 for talks with the IMF, during which, among other things, the question will be raised of how to speed up "this process."
"The IMF has internal procedures, to which it adheres, and, accordingly, they will be ready to implement these procedures in the last week of April," he said.
