Ukraine facing default if govt-proposed anti-crisis measures not adopted - PM

If the Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada does not adopt anti-crisis measures proposed by the government, Ukraine is facing default on its payments, Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk said.

"If these bills are not adopted, we anticipate default and we anticipate minus 10% of GDP," Yatseniuk said at the Verkhovna Rada on Thursday.

At the same time, he vowed that the government will prevent Ukraine's bankruptcy.
