Ukraine could buy 25 bcm of gas from Europe much cheaper than from Russia, says PM
Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk has said that the country could receive 25 billion cubic meters of gas from Europe, which would cost $100 less per 1,000 cubic meters than gas bought from Russia.
"According to our estimates, it is technically possible to ship 25 billion cubic meters of gas from the European Union, which would cost $100 less [per 1,000 cubic meters] than the similar supplies from Russia," he said at a press conference in Kyiv on Wednesday.
