Ukraine not to pay Russia more than $387 per 1,000 cubic meters of gas in Q2 - Prodan
Ukraine will not pay Russia's Gazprom more than $387 per 1,000 cubic meters of gas in the second quarter of 2014, Ukrainian Energy and Coal Industry Minister Yuriy Prodan has said.
"We're not going to sue them [Russia]. We're going to pay them $387 per 1,000 cubic meters. If they set their price for us, we'll still pay $387. Let them go to court," he said at a briefing in Kyiv on Tuesday.
Prodan added that Russia had made no formal steps on the denunciation of the so-called Kharkiv agreements.
"No steps have been taken to change the agreements at the official level. There are only allegations," he said.
