The Ukrainian gas transport system is under guard of the National Guard of Ukraine and Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), the Interior Ministry reported on Sunday, March 16.
"The gas transport and distribution systems of Ukraine are under guard of the National Guard of Ukraine and Security Service of Ukraine in pursuance of the order of Ukrainian prime minister," reads the statement.
The Interior Ministry said that the decision was made to ensure safety and stable operation of the important infrastructure facility of the country.
