179 Ukrainian millionaires declare income, Tax Ministry says

Since the beginning of 2014 almost 55,000 Ukrainians have already declared UAH 7.6 billion in income for 2013, of whom 179 declared income exceeding UAH 1 million, the Income and Tax Ministry's reported, with reference to approximate data.

The income declaration campaign will continue until May 1, 2014, the ministry's press service said. Income declarations for 2013 are to be submitted to local tax agencies in the districts where tax payers are registered.

A total of 198,300 individuals applied for tax refunds in 2013, with UAH 214.3 million having been refunded.
