EU discusses possibility of granting short- and long-term loans to Ukraine - Ashton
EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton has said that the EU is discussing the possibility of granting short- and long-term loans to Ukraine.
She said at a press conference on Tuesday that the EU was actively communicating with its partners to develop ways to help overcome economic challenges. She said that in particular, the EU was actively cooperating with the IMF in this direction and that it was thinking about a combination of short- and long-term loans.
