Ukraine decides not to issue eurobonds worth $2 bln, says ISE
Ukraine has decided not to issue additional two-year 2015 eurobonds worth $1.985 billion, the Irish Stock Exchange (ISE) has reported.
The issuer informed the stock exchange about this.
As reported, on February 18 the ISE canceled a decision made on February 17 to include in the listing Ukraine's additionally issued two-year eurobonds maturing in 2015 and worth $1.985 billion, referring to the fact that they have not been issued.
On February 18, 2014, Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov said that Russia wants to buy the next tranche of eurobonds, worth $2 billion.
Russia in late 2013 bought two-year eurobonds worth $3 billion at 5% per annum from Ukraine.
VTB Capital organized the issue.
