Ukrtransgaz raises UAH 200 mln from Bank Kyivska Rus
Public joint-stock company Ukrtransgaz has raised a renewable credit line with a limit of UAH 200 million from Bank Kyivska Rus, the operator of the Ukrainian gas transport system reported in the Visnyk Derzhavnykh Zakupivel bulletin.
The company said that the credit agreement was signed on February 14, 2014.
As reported, the loan funds are to be attracted for one year. Their purpose is to replenish working capital. The cost of servicing the credit line will be UAH 41.885 million (excluding VAT).
Ukrtransgaz, 100% owned by Naftogaz Ukrainy, operates the system of trunk gas pipelines and 12 underground gas storage facilities in the country.
Bank Kyivska Rus was founded in 1996. In the third quarter of 2013, the largest shareholders of the bank were Viktor Bratko (35.44%), Bazus Investment Group LLC (23.87%).
According to the National Bank of Ukraine, on October 1, 2013 in terms of total assets (UAH 7.117 billion) the bank ranked 28th among the 178 banks operating in the country.
