Ukraine intends to further develop cooperation with Shell - Azarov
Ukraine is not abandoning shale gas extraction and intends in the future to develop cooperation with Shell, Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov has said.
"We are not abandoning shale gas production. Cooperation with Shell will be expanded to other areas," he said at a meeting with Chairman of the Shell Board of Directors Jorma Ollila in Davos (Switzerland) on Thursday.
Ollila stressed that Shell has long-term interests in Ukraine and the desire to implement a number of important large-scale projects.
According to him, Shell is proud of working with Ukraine.
