Ukrtransgaz and Naftogaz sign contract for purchase of 3 bcm of fuel gas
PJSC Ukrtransgaz, the operator of the country's gas transportation system, has signed a contract with Naftogaz Ukrainy for the purchase of 3 billion cubic meters (bcm) of natural gas for production and technological needs.
According to the report by Ukrtransgaz in the Public Procurement Bulletin, the cost of the contract signed with the state holding is UAH 12.701 billion. The purchase is made on the basis of the procedure for procurement from one seller.
Gas is to be delivered in 2014 on the border of Ukraine and other countries.
As reported, Ukrtransgaz this autumn twice canceled tenders for the supply of 3 billion cubic meters of natural gas due to there being an insufficient number of bidders.
