Ukrainian, Russian premiers to discuss large-scale projects
Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev and his Ukrainian counterpart Mykola Azarov will discuss cooperation in the trade, economic, energy and financial sectors at a meeting in Moscow on Tuesday, the Russian government's press service has told Interfax.
"Medvedev and Azarov will discuss in Moscow on December 24 the key issues of cooperation, as well as large-scale Russian-Ukrainian projects," the press service said.
Azarov will visit Moscow to attend a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council at the level of heads of state.
"During the talks [Medvedev and Azarov] are expected to discuss the key issues of bilateral cooperation in the trade, economic energy, credit, financial, scientific, technical, humanitarian and cultural fields, as well as the implementation of large-scale joint industrial and infrastructure projects," reads the statement.
