Parliament to consider 2014 budget in January, says Yatseniuk
The state budget for 2014 will be considered in January next year, the leader of the Batkivschyna faction in parliament, Arseniy Yatseniuk, has said.
"The procedure for the consideration of the bill should be held next year, not earlier than in two weeks. That is, actually on [January] 14-16 we will be able to return to the consideration of the bill on the state budget at first and second reading," he said at a briefing on Thursday.
Yatseniuk said that in the draft budget envisages "a halt to social and other laws, which is prohibited by a Constitutional Court ruling."
"That's why this bill cannot be considered and adopted in this form," he said.
