Tuesday deal with Russia enables Ukraine to pass 2014 national budget - PM Azarov

Ukraine can pass a national budget for 2014 thanks to the agreements it reached with Russia on December 17, Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said.

"Yesterday's agreements provide us with the opportunity to pass a social development budget, which was impossible before," Azarov said in opening a government meeting in Kyiv on Wednesday.

The prime minister called the agreements on lowering the gas price for Ukraine and on extending it a significant loan historic.
