Rosselkhoznadzor limits beef supplies from Ivano-Frankivsk meat factory
The Russian Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor) has imposed temporary restrictions on the supply of frozen beef from PJSC Ivano-Frankivsk meat processing plant.
According to the Web site of the Russian authority, more than the permissible number of mesophilic aerobic and facultative anaerobic microorganisms were discovered in the producer's chilled beef products in the period of intensive monitoring.
As reported, since October 2013 this company has been under the enhanced control of the Russian authority.
PJSC Ivano-Frankivsk meat processing plant was founded in 1994. The company is engaged in preparing and slaughtering cattle, producing meat and offal, as well as meat wholesale and retail trade. Its main shareholder is Crosstar LTD (97.76% of the shares).
