UIA in 2014 to increase passenger traffic by over 30%
Ukraine International Airlines (UIA, Kyiv) plans in 2014 to increase the transportation of passengers by 31.1% compared to the same period in 2012, to 5.9 million passengers, airline corporate secretary Yevhenia Satska has told Interfax-Ukraine.
She also confirmed that in 2013 the company intends to carry 4.5 million passengers, which is 60.7% more than in 2012.
UIA was founded in 1992. It is the largest Ukrainian airline.
Its basic airport is Boryspil (Kyiv).
The UIA fleet consists of 37 aircraft: five Embraer-190s, 31 Boeing 737s, and one Boeing 767.
