Arbuzov, Tombinski agree on schedule for implementation of EU-Ukraine Association Agreement
Ukrainian First Deputy Prime Minister Serhiy Arbuzov and Head of the EU Delegation to Ukraine Jan Tombinski have discussed the continuation of preparations for the signing of an Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU, the first deputy prime minister's press service has reported.
"The Ukrainian side said that the country's course for European integration in general and for association with the European Union in particular remains unchanged. Agreements were reached on the consistency of the negotiation process aimed at the speedy formation of the schedule for the implementation of the initialed Association Agreement, as well as the coordination of certain aspects of its implementation - the so-called roadmap," reads the statement.
The sides also expressed mutual hope for the resumption of confidence through a policy of concrete steps towards achieving a common goal – building a democratic, stable European Ukraine.
