Ukraine by November 22 exports 12.84 m tonnes of grain
Grain exports from Ukraine since the beginning of the current marketing year (MY, July 2013 - June 2014) and as of November 22 totaled 12.84 million tonnes, which is 15.84% up on the same date last MY.
According to the Ministry of Agricultural Policy and Food, wheat exports were 5.9 million tonnes, barley 1.95 million tonnes, and corn 4.93 million tonnes.
According to the latest forecasts of the ministry, the grain harvest in Ukraine in 2013 will be 61.5 million tonnes. The ministry estimates grain exports in the current year will be 30 million tonnes.
