Ukrainian authorities promise to ensure Russian gas transit to Europe
The suspension of the purchase of Russian gas by Ukraine will not reflect on gas transit to Europe, Ukrainian Energy and Mining Minister Eduard Stavytsky said.
"It will have absolutely no impact. We are absolutely comfortable," the minister told reporters in Kyiv on Wednesday responding to a question as to whether the fact that Ukraine is no longer buying gas form Russia may have any effect on gas transit to Europe.
