Naftogaz Ukrainy stops buying gas from Gazprom Friday

Ukraine's national oil and gas company Naftogaz Ukrainy ceased purchases of gas from Russian gas giant Gazprom on Friday, the Fuel and Energy Dispatch Center (CDU TEK) reported.

Naftogaz received 3.2 billion cubic meters of gas in October, an average of 104 million cubic meters per day. In early November, purchases halved, falling to about 9 million cubic meters daily on November 6 and 7, and halted on the 8th.
