Rosselkhoznadzor restricts meat supply from two Ukrainian companies to Russia
Rosselkhoznadzor has decided to impose temporary restrictions on the supply of products to Russia from two Ukrainian meat processing enterprises, namely Pryluky-Agropererobka LLC and Tavr-Plus LLC.
According to the report from the Russian Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance, laboratory studies revealed mesophilic aerobic and facultative anaerobic microorganisms in frozen beef produced by Pryluky-Agropererobka.
Listeria were found in frozen poultry supplied by Tavr-Plus.
Rosselkhoznadzor also reported that Russian experts detected listeria during laboratory testing of sausages produced by Belarus' Inco-Food. The Russian veterinary service will inform the veterinary service of Belarus about the violation.
