PJSC Ukrtransnafta, a monopoly on oil transportation in the country, in January-September 2013 saw its net profit under international financial reporting standards (IFRS), rise by 2.1 times compared to the same period in 2013, to UAH 459.202 million.
As Ukrtransnafta reported in the information disclosure system of the National Commission on Securities and the Stock Market, its net income for the period increased by 56.7%, to UAH 2.475 billion, while its gross profit increased by 51%, to UAH 475.39 million.
In July-September 2013, Ukrtransnafta saw its net income rise by 2.5 times, to UAH 290.274 million compared to the third quarter last year. Its gross profit increased by 59%, to UAH 171.212 million.
Ukrtransnafta operates the oil transportation system of Ukraine. 100% of its shares are managed by National Joint-Stock Company Naftogaz Ukrainy.
The system of the trunk oil pipelines of Ukrtransnafta, which have a diameter of 159 to 1,220 mm and a total length of 4,700 km, runs across 19 regions of Ukraine.
