Roshen suspends export of confectionery products to Russia
The international confectionery corporation Roshen, a leading manufacturer of confectionery products in Ukraine, has suspended the shipment of all types of confectionery products to Russia.
"We have suspended shipments until the situation is clarified," the press service for the corporation told Interfax-Ukraine on Wednesday.
The press service said this decision is voluntary because the Russian customs bodies have not yet received an official order banning the import of Roshen products.
According to earlier reports, Russia's Rospotrebnadzor imposed a ban on the supply to Russia of confectionery products from Roshen's factories in Ukraine over quality concerns.
