Rospotrebnadzor to inspect Ukrainian flour-containing confectionary products

Russia's Rospotrebnadzor will check the quality of Ukrainian flour-containing confectionary products, Russia's chief sanitary inspector Gennady Onishchenko told reporters.

"When we tackled Ukrainian cheese, one of the conditions was that we will periodically go back to it in some segments of the trade turnover if they did not create a product quality control system. As soon as the cheese issue was put aside, they immediately forgot about this issue, and now we have confectionary products. We are now checking Ukrainian flour-containing confectionary products. I can't say what we will find," Onishchenko said.
