Ukrainian confectionary producer has not received notification of ban of exports to Russia
Roshen international corporation, a major producer of confectionary products in Ukraine, has not received any official notification from the Russian sanitation authority on the ban of its shipments to Russia, its press service states.
"We have not received yet any official documents that would confirm the announcement made by the head of Rospotrebnadzor," Interfax-Ukraine was told at the press service on Monday.
Earlier on Monday Russia's Chief Sanitation Doctor Gennady Onishchenko told Interfax that Rospotrebnadzor had banned imports of Roshen products to Russia.
Roshen operates confectionery factories in Kyiv, Vinnytsia, Mariupol and Kremenchuk, the Bershadmoloko dairy producer and a stud farm in Vinnytsia region and additional confectionary facilities abroad in Klaipeda (Lithuania) and Lipetsk (Russia).
The company produces up to 200 kinds of confectionary. Its total annual production volume reaches 410,000 tonnes.
