Deficit of Ukraine's national budget comes to UAH 22.5 b in H1, 2013, says Finance Ministry
The deficit of Ukraine's national budget in January-June 2013 amounted to UAH 22.5 billion, which is UAH 20 billion less than the target for this period, the director of the financial policy department at the Finance Ministry of Ukraine Tetiana Sysoyeva has said.
"In the first half of the year the national budget had a deficit considerably smaller than planned. This is UAH 20 billion less than the plan," she said at a press conference on Tuesday.
According to Sysoyeva, the deficit of the general fund of the national budget amounted to UAH 24.7 billion, which is UAH 12 billion less than the plan.
"The first half of the year was intense, but the plan was fulfilled," the official said.
