Solar power plant to be built in Kyiv region, says governor
A solar power plant is planned to be built in Bohuslaviv district, Kyiv region, Head of Kyiv Regional State Administration Anatoliy Prysiazhniuk has said.
"I do not think that we will begin to carry out the project this year, but we are paying special attention to the matter, because there are excellent conditions for this in Bohuslaviv district," Prysiazhniuk said in an interview with Interfax-Ukraine.
"I am confident that in the coming years, we will build this facility and put it into operation," he said adding that they might attract German investments.
According to him, this will be the first solar power plant in Kyiv region.
