Text of Ukraine-EU Association Agreement being agreed by profile Ukrainian ministries and agencies
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine has stated that the text of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union is being agreed by the profile Ukrainian ministries and agencies.
"All profile ministries and authorities, and there are over forty of them, should paraph the last page of this agreement and submit it to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to pass the legal inspection of the Justice Ministry and then transfer it to the president for signing and then ratification," Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Andriy Olefirov said after the ceremony of opening the memorial sign dedicated to the perpetuation of the joint Ukrainian-Lithuanian heritage – the Castle Place on the Castle Hill in Kyiv.
He noted that the document, consisting of more than 1,000 pages, was initialed in 2012. Its English version has been fully proofread and approved, and afterwards the procedure of its translation into all the languages of the EU member states started.
