About 450 loans for UAH 101 m issued under program for subsidizing mortgage loans
About 450 loans totaling UAH 101.328 million have been issued since the beginning of 2013 under a program for subsidizing mortgage loans to provide people who need better living conditions with affordable housing, according to the Web site of the Ministry of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities.
According to the report, the largest number of credits under this program were issued in Vinnytsia region (52 credits for UAH 12.666 million), Sumy region (49 loans for UAH 9.057 million) and Kyiv (47 credits for UAH 16.18 million).
The ministry said that the interdepartmental commission for considering proposals to form a list of objects that can participate in the program has selected 392 objects, for the purchase of 16,026 apartments.
As reported, the national budget for 2013 foresees UAH 300 million for funding the program for subsidizing mortgage loans to provide people who need better living conditions with affordable housing, which is 3.3 times down on the UAH 1 billon foreseen for 2012.
