Azarov: Kyiv counts on Minsk's support in cooperation with Customs Union
Ukraine hopes for support from Belarus as part of its cooperation with the Customs Union, Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov has said.
"The signing of an important document on Ukraine's participation in the work of the Customs Union is scheduled for today. We're planning to participate at least in the preparation of the Customs Union documents, express our opinions and take into account the policy pursued by the union. We hope that Belarus will support us in these issues," the government's press service quoted him as saying at a meeting with Belarusian Prime Minister Mikhail Myasnikovich on Friday.
Azarov also noted that Ukraine and Belarus are maintaining friendly bilateral relations. The Belarusian prime minister agreed with this and added that bilateral relations are developing dynamically.
