Reform of Ukravtodor to be completed in 2014, says agency head
The reform of Ukraine's road sector will be completed by the end of 2014, forecasts the head of the State Agency of Automobile Roads of Ukraine (Ukravtodor), Yevhen Prusenko.
"The reform program has been approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, there is a plan of measures and they will be fulfilled by the end of 2014," he said at a press conference at Interfax-Ukraine on Monday.
Prusenko noted that the reform, in particular, foresees the separation of responsibility for roads of state and local importance.
As reported, Ukravtodor officials say that to bring the road network to the proper state, annual investment of UAH 40-50 billion for ten years is required in the sector.
