Ukrzaliznytsia to increase sales income by 13.6% in 2013
State Railways Administration Ukrzaliznytsia plans in 2013 to increase its sales income by 13.6% compared to 2012, to UAH 59.928 billion.
According to information on the Web site of the administration, its projected operating expenses in the current year will increase by 12.8%, to UAH 53.602 billion.
In addition, the administration expects its income from freight transportation to rise by 4.7%, to UAH 42.881 billion, and that from passenger transportation by 4%, to UAH 6.787 billion.
In addition, the administration plans in 2013 to increase cargo turnover by 2.5%, to 243.6 billion tonne-kilometers, and passenger turnover is expected to remain at the level of 2012, at 49.2 billion passenger-kilometers.
As reported, the net profit of Ukrzaliznytsia in 2012, according to international financial reporting standards, amounted to UAH 802.76 million, which is 2.6 times less than in the previous year. At the same time, revenues from sales increased by 2.6%, to UAH 52.725 billion.
