Kyiv to present energy saving and construction projects at business forum in Vienna
Some investment projects planned for realization in Kyiv, particularly in the energy saving and construction areas, will be presented at a business forum in Days of Kyiv to be held in Vienna on April 22-24, 2013, the press service of Kyiv City Administration has reported.
"We'll present interesting offers in Vienna concerning various directions – the production of various types of equipment, energy saving projects, projects on construction, pharmacy, tourism, etc. We're sure that there is interest from both sides in attracting investment and creating joint ventures, etc. I think that after the business forum one can say for sure there will be a great strengthening in partnerships between Kyiv and Vienna," reads the report, citing the coordinator of the business program and director of the industry and entrepreneurship development department at Kyiv City Administration, Liudmyla Denysiuk.
Representatives of around 25 Kyiv companies and almost 70 Austrian companies will participate in the business forum.
Kyiv City Administration will present the Kyiv Investment program, where all strategic directions of the city development will be determined, as well as projects in which investors can take part, for example, a project on the construction of the fourth subway line.
"Enlarged presentations for potential investors will be offered by several companies from Kyiv, in particular, Kyivprylad will present projects in the energy instrument-making industry, public joint-stock company Farmak plans to reinforce cooperation in the production of medicine, and International Exhibition Center LLC will offer its sites and other organization possibilities to promote Austrian companies in the capital of Ukraine," the press service of the administration said.
Among participants from Kyiv will be many representatives of industrial companies, which core business is construction, engineering, equipment production, energy saving technologies and modern utility networks. Companies in light industry will also present their projects in Vienna.
Kyiv City Administration Head Oleksandr Popov will visit Siemens and Famed during Days of Kyiv, where he will take a look at newest transport technologies and new products in the medicine area.
