Ukrzaliznytsia announces tender to buy 1,325 gondola cars for Donetsk railways using EBRD funds

State Railways Administration Ukrzaliznytsia has announced a tender for the purchase of 1,325 high-sided freight wagons for Donetsk Railways.

According to the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), five lots of 265 gondola cars each were put up for tender using loan funds. The bid security for each lot is $25,000.

Bids from potential participants are accepted until 1000 on May 29, 2013.

Under the terms of the tender, bidders must provide detailed information about production facilities, as well as information about customers and the details of contracts with wagon buyers over the last three years.

According to the tender conditions, its participants have to confirm that for the last three years they had supplied at least 200 gondola cars to customers.

Bidders also should provide all necessary certificates.
