Naftogaz Ukrainy discovers oil field in Poltava region
National joint-stock company Naftogaz Ukrainy has discovered the Pivdenno-Runovschynske oil field in Poltava region.
The press service of the holding reported on Thursday that on April 10, 2013 a good oil influx was obtained during the drilling of well No. 110, with an initial flow rate of over 60 tonnes a day.
At present, the well is being tested.
The holding reminded that in September 2012 the Runovschynske gas field was discovered.
Naftogaz Ukrainy unites oil and gas production assets in Ukraine, and is the country's gas transit, underground gas storage, and oil pipeline transportation monopoly.
