Energy minister: No complaints from Russia against Ukraine on gas supplies from Europe
Ukraine has not received concrete complaints from Russia concerning gas supplies from Europe, Ukrainian Energy and Coal Industry Minister Eduard Stavytsky has said.
"These are their assumptions. I don't want to comment on assumptions. I haven't heard any real complaints," he said, when asked to comment at the request of journalists on Russia's complaints to Ukraine regarding reverse gas supplies from Europe.
Earlier, Ukrainian Deputy Energy and Coal Industry Minister Volodymyr Makukha noted that reverse gas supplies from Europe to Ukraine were fully consistent with international law.
Gazprom CEO Alexei Miller said on April 1 that the schemes used by Ukraine to obtain gas from Europe were similar to fraud.
