IMF mission and Ukrainian bankers discuss pressing problems of financial sector
The mission of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Ukrainian bankers and representatives of profile associations have discussed pressing problems of the banking sector.
"Leaders of the Association of Ukrainian Banks (AUB) and the Independent Association of Ukrainian Banks held a meeting with the representatives of the IMF mission led by Christopher Jarvis. During the meeting they discussed the pressing problems of the banking sector, in particular the development of the situation in the banking sector and major challenges," reads a statement by the AUB.
As reported, on March 27 the IMF mission arrived in Kyiv for talks with Ukrainian authorities on a new Stand-By Arrangement. The work of the IMF mission is scheduled for March 27 to April 10.
