Ukraine sees 0.1% deflation in February, says Statistics Service
Consumer prices in Ukraine in February 2013 again declined by 0.1% following two months of growth of 0.2%, the State Statistics Service said on Wednesday.
According to the service, deflation in annual terms in February accelerated to 0.5%, compared to 0.2% in January.
The service said that in general over the first two months of 2013 inflation was 0.1%, while a year ago it was equal to 0.4%.
As reported, deflation in Ukraine in 2012 was 0.2% (December to December).
The government forecasts the acceleration of inflation in 2013 to 4.8-6.1%
