Ukraine hopes to pass to stage of signing Association Agreement with EU in Brussels, says Yanukovych
Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has stated that Ukraine hopes to pass to the stage of signing the Association Agreement with the EU at the EU-Ukraine Summit in Brussels on February 25.
"I think we will decide to pass to the next stage, which will end up with the signing of the Association Agreement with the EU," Yanukovych said in the Dialogue with the Country live television program on Friday.
The head of state also noted the importance of the creation of a free trade area with the EU, which will also be raised at the summit, as well as the issue of passing to the second phase of the implementation of the Visa Liberalization Action Plan with the EU.
