Ukraine to continuing talks with WTO on adjusting 371 tariff lines
Ukraine is continuing talks with the World Trade Organization on improving conditions of trade, Economic Development and Trade Minister Ihor Prasolov has said.
"The negotiations will take place in Brussels today and tomorrow, and we will work on harmonizing 371 tariff lines. I think that we will reach an understanding and compromise," he told reporters in Kyiv on Tuesday.
The minister said the changes in tariffs would be insignificant for Ukraine, accounting for only around 2.5% of all tariff lines, compared to the approximately 12,000 tariff lines Ukraine had to revise when signing its agreement with the WTO.
