Altcom to build airport, two bridges in Turkmenistan
Altcom Road Construction (Donetsk), part of the Altcom financial and industrial group, is to design and build some transport and communications infrastructure facilities in Turkmenistan.
Turkmenistan's President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has signed the corresponding resolutions. The documents have been published in the main newspapers of the country.
The Ukrainian company in the coming two years will build a new international airport in the largest city of the country – Turkmenabat. The airport will service 500 passengers per hour. Altcom will also build a railway and car bridges across the Amu Darya River between the cities of Turkmenabat and Farap.
Construction will start this month at all of the sites.
The resolutions were signed at a cabinet meeting, one of the topics of which was the preparation for the visit of Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych to Turkmenistan next week.
Altcom Road Construction is part of the Altcom financial and industrial group, along with Altcom-Keram, Altcom-Nerudprom, Altcom-Stone, Altcom-Transmechanization, Altcem (Kerch, Crimea), Altech TM-Service (Kyiv), and others.
Altcom financial and industrial group incorporates a number of enterprises extracting, producing and processing construction raw materials. Its core business also includes design work, industrial and civil construction, and the construction of roads of all categories.
The founders of Altcom are Oleksandr Tyslenko and Serhiy Pavlychev.
