Group DF confirms purchase of big stake in Inter TV channel

Ukrainian businessman Dmytro Firtash's Group DF has purchased a significant stake in U.A. Inter Media Group Limited owned by former First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Valeriy Khoroshkovsky. U.A. Inter Media Group's main asset is Inter television channel.

"The press service of Group DF confirms this information," the group's press service told an Interfax-Ukraine reporter and refused to disclose any details of the deal for the moment.

Earlier, Firtash said he had a call option to buy a 50% stake in U.A. Inter Media Group Limited.
